Why 2.5 is listed but disabled
The entry shows the model is being tracked. Nothing is ever generated under the Nano Banana 2.5 name until a real route exists, so you always know which model made your image.
What to use now
- Nano Banana 2 — text-to-image and reference editing at 1K, 2K or 4K.
- Nano Banana Pro — when you want another Nano Banana route at up to 4K.
- Other catalog models such as Seedream 5.0, GPT Image 2, Krea 2 and FLUX.2, each with its own quote.
The edit workflow that carries over
Whatever model eventually runs, the same habit gives the best edits: one change per request, and an explicit list of what must stay.
